Would be nice to have an app for Android so we can enter events on the go.

        Hi Fabiano,
How's the testing going? Do you know yet when your app will be available?
        Thanks

        Matt

Do you have an idea of when you will make this available?

      • MatthewGMatthewG commented  ·

Yes, would be great to know when it is going to be available. I love the web app. It's strength is it's simplicity and great UI

Is there an ETA on this app?

An app using android voice input and normal keyboard input plus setting an alarm in the phone (e.g. 15 minutes before the event) would be SO great.

Maybe setting a working mobile version of the site would work for now (I can't use it from my phone) but offline access (and later sync) is important in smartphones.

        I Love Coolendar!

The integration with Google Calendar is great, but I think that this app is intended to remove the noise from the signal (you mentioned that here http://twitter.com/#!/coolendar/status/43368612270059520)

        Thanks! Hope it helps

Although the calendar integration is nice, what I think we are all really asking for is a method of inputting to coolendar from android.....

Calendar integration is nice. What I would love to see now is simple widget with only one line input for adding stuff. (I really like the way you sorted out adding appointments).

Then a proper nicely laid out widget for displaying stuff in simple list. After all as you pointed out this is better than a clustered calendar and I agree.

        love the project so far!

Technically it's simple, if you accept and add coolender@appspot.com to your GTalk service you can use the built in GTalk client to IM an event or todo.

And you can use the .ics to add to your Google Calendar online that will sync to the native Android Calendar (doing it now!)

An android app would make this perfect!

Integrating with google calendar is good enough for me for android, it keeps me from having to have two calendars.

        Dear users,

We have a very early preview regarding the integration with other calendar apps subject. At this time it works "from coolendar" > "to google, ical or your preferred calendar app", but the inverse is coming. It is very useful to make use of other apps notifications and even have your events on your mobile calendar app. How does it work?

        1. At the bottom of your coolendar, copy the small, almost hidden url of the "ics" link.
        2. On Google Calendar, go to "Other Calendars", "Add", "Add by URL" and paste.
        3. On iCal, go to "Calendar", "Subscribe" and paste. Other desktop calendar apps may be similar.

Integrating with Google Calendar will also integrate (events and notifications) with Android, that's great.

        What do you think?

        Best regards! ;)

My primary device is an android X10mini pro so without android app is useless

        Without Android app, it's useless.

yeah. no android app (with offline mode / sync) no go.
        interesting idea though!

I would like an app or the ability to transfer between google calendar and coolendar.
